TED: Torridge Endurance Day

In support of Northam Lodge at Skern Lodge

Would you like to do more for Charity.  How about attending the forthcoming fundraising event that we are holding called TED.  You may think this sounds cuddly and tame, but it is far from it!

We have organised the Torridge Endurance Day (TED) in association with Skern Lodge, a local specialist provider of outdoor activities.  We need you to create a team of 6-8 people to take part in various events throughout the day, such as:

• High ropes
• Assault course
• Archery
• Raft race on the Torridge Estuary
• Bridge jump from Bideford Bridge
• 4.5 mile coast path run

Your team will work together to earn points in various activities, and a trophy will be given to the winning team at the end of event, with medals for all competitors.

The registration fee is £30 per person, and this covers the cost for Skern Lodge to host the event.  We hope that each competitor will raise sponsorship in aid of Northam Lodge to go towards the cost of a new minibus, which our service desperately needs to help the people we support.
