Coltishall Jaguars was formed in September 2004 and our membership now stands at 100+ with over 40 of these being ladies.

Alan Groves, our Chairman, formed the club after his son, Michael, a talented runner and cyclist was tragically killed in an accident back in 1998. The following year Alan organised a memorial charity race (proceeds going to The Quidenham Children’s Hospice) called "The Mike Groves Run" which is on a course often used by Mike as one of his training runs. This proved a success and has become an annual event, which inspired Alan and his other son Paul to form "The Jags" in 2004. Since then, a further two races have been added to the calendar.

We have built a happy, friendly and social running club welcoming members of all abilities, from beginners and fun runners to the more serious athletes – the choice is yours.  So why not come along and give us a try, you’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome!
