Race Registration:
Registration will take place at the Plymouth Guildhall between the following times:
- Saturday 8th October, 10:00 - 18:00 - registration necessary between these times to avoid delays on race day.
- Sunday 9th October, 07:00 - 08:00 - open for runners who will be travelling from outside of Plymouth and surrounding areas.
Runners will collect their race number, race information and t-shirt during these times. It is also a good opportunity to raise any questions you may have and explore the expo, which includes trade and sponsor stands as well as Sports Therapy, provided by University of St Mark & St John.
Medals and goody bags will be given to all race finishers.
Start Time:
Sunday 9th October 2016. 08:30.
Race HQ:
Will be based in Plymouth Guildhall. There will be an Information Desk in The Foyer to deal with any last minutes questions. Lost property and lost persons will be dealt with at this point.
You will need to register either on Saturday 8th October (10:00 -18:00) or from 07:00 on Sunday 9th October.
Event Expo: On Saturday 8th October 10:00-18:00 there will be an Expo linked to Athlete Registration. Trade Stands, Physiotherapy, Advice and lots more – watch out for further news.
Race Entries:
Race entries will close on 2nd October 2016.
Elite Athletes:
We will give Free Entry to Elite Athletes who meet the following;
Men: Sub 30:30
Women: Sub 35:20
Free Places
Runplymouth will offer the following;
1 Free Place for every 10 club entries.
All Club entrants must be affiliated to England Athletics.
Club runners can't run for both club and Charity/Company or Military.
This will also be offered to Teams entered under the following banners;
Charities / Companies / Military Personnel.

Changing/Baggage:
The Guildhall Main Hall will be used for Changing and Baggage.
Toilets:
Toilets are situated within the entrance Foyer area with additional toilets outside.
Medical:
Provision will be based within The Start and Finish Area and on the course.
Timing:
The event will be using Chip Timing, Official results will be published using Gun Time but both Gun and Chip times will be available post race.
SMS Results Service informing you of your time.
Results will be posted on www.runplymouth.co.uk
Marshals:
Will be used throughout the route supported by traffic management operatives and signage, please listen for their instructions.
Water Station:
A Water Station will be situated at 5km and water will be available at the end of the event.
Rules of Competition:

Athletes must be age 15 years and above on race day.
Club vests must be worn by athletes who want to count for Team Prizes, these athletes must also have to be registered affiliated athletes.
Race Numbers must be secured by pins to the front of your garment and must not be folded. The whole of the number must be intact and visible.
Race Numbers are issued to the individual athlete completing the application form.
Athletes who receive transferred numbers without permission will be disqualified from the race. Both runners will be subject to disciplinary action by the appropriate National Association.*
*If you have entered but can’t now run but you would like to give your number to a fellow athlete you can do so up until 2nd October 2016, an admin fee of £5.00 will be charged, contact info@runplymouth.co.uk giving your name and entry details and the details of the replacement athlete.
A runner must retire immediately if ordered to do so by a medical officer of the race.
Runners who retire from a race must not remove their number card until they have reported to an official as having retired from the race.
Dogs are not permitted to accompany the runner.
Any Wheelchair Athletes must be self propelled (please inform the Race Director).
Emergency Contact Details and any medication or medical condition should be notified to the Race Director and included on the template on the reverse of your race number.
Please pass this information on to the Race Director (this information will only be shared with the Medical Manager).
No athlete can be accompanied other than a blind or partially sighted athlete using a guide runner.
