The Mini Cracker race is back for 2016 and will take place on Sunday December 11th at 10am.

Following on from the success of the Prom Mile Race Series, Weston AC are hosting the second Mini Cracker race aimed at Junior Runners (aged 7 to 15 years).

This 2km race follows the same course as the Christmas Cracker 10km race up to the 1km point where runners turn back for the race to the finish.

All runners are actively encouraged to wear fancy dress or at the very least one piece of tinsel.

Parents are permitted to run with their children on the course provided they do not obstruct other competitors.

Q: How do I enter my darling cherub into the Mini Cracker 2km race?

A: After you have read the blurb below, click on the downward pointing arrow in the "ENTER NOW - CHOOSE ENTRY TYPE" section and select the "Mini Cracker Entry £1.00" option.  Then click on the green "Enter Now" button.

You will then be presented with a "Participant Entry" screen.  The responsible grown up must enter their information in the "Your Details" section.  The details for the Junior taking part in the race should be entered in the supplementary "Event Questions" section.  Please do NOT enter the Junior's details in the "Your Details" section.  Please ensure that answers to all the supplementary questions are provided.  If Junior does not have any known medical conditions, or does not belong to a running club, please enter "N/A".

Online entry is just £1 inclusive of processing fee

Closing date is 31st October 2015, or earlier if the 250 entry limit is reached before then

Minimum age is 7 years and maximum age is 15 years

Race packs will NOT be posted to participants.

Race numbers will need to be picked up from Race HQ on the day of the race.

Please note that the race start is on the beach by the Grand Pier.  

Allow yourself 15 minutes to get from the College to the start location.
