The Haselbury trail race is a very scenic 2 lap cross country evening run. The event has been run since 1989, it starts and finishes at the splendid North Perrott Cricket Club Pavilion located in Willis Lane, North Perrott, TA18 7SU.  For those who don't fancy  the full 10k there is a shorter option Fun Run of approx. 6k (1 lap). The 6K will be a total fun run with no prizes but full results will be published. Minimum age for both events is 15 years or older.

The Cricket Club has excellent facilities with parking, changing and showers. The bar will be open and BBQ food will be available. Traditionally many people stay on after the race for a drink and some food and to catch up with other runners. 

This race was first organised in 1989 making this the 34th year after missing the 2020 race due to coronavirus.

There is an antique solid silver cup dated 1908 which will have the winners name engraved but sadly has become far too valuable to be handed out. All finishers will receive a  souvenir  whiskey tumbler to celebrate 40 years of Crewkerne Running Club. Trophies and wine for first 3 men and ladies, men 40-49, 50-59 and 60+, ladies 35-44, 45-54 and 55+ , also a trophy for the oldest finisher in the 10K race. 

We want this race to be as runner friendly as possible by providing maximum features for a minimum price, come and join us for a wonderful summer Wednesday evening. We are very happy to be able to keep the entry fee the same as last year!

This has been designated as a 'cupless race', please bring your own reusable drinking vessel. However nobody will be at risk of dehydration due to lack of a cup! There will be up to four water stations on the 10K route depending on the weather.

PLEASE NOTE, AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THE CLUB HOSTING THE EVENT THE RACE LIMIT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO 200 DUE TO PARKING CONCERNS. ONLINE ENTRIES WILL BE CLOSED AT 22:00 ON TUESDAY AUGUST 6th. OR WHEN THE LIMIT IS REACHED. ENTRIES MAY BE TAKEN ON THE DAY FROM 18:00 SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. PLEASE ENTER ONLINE IF YOU CAN. ANY 'ON THE DAY' ENTRIES WILL BE SUBJECT TO A PREMUIM PAYMENT.
