Cambridge 10k & Relay 2018
15 April 2018
The Cambridge Cambourne 10k – now in its tenth year – appeals to runners of all levels: from new runners to the more experienced. The distance is long enough to be challenging, but short enough to be accessible to anyone with the determination to put in a bit of training.
Its sister event, the Cambridge Cambourne Fun Run, is ideal for younger runners or those not ready for the longer distance.
Relay Race option
A two-leg relay race option for teams of two for whether you’re competitive 5K runners or if you and your buddy want something a bit shorter.
Cambridgeshire AA Road League
This year, we’re also proud to be part of the Cambs Road League.
Lovely rural course
The course passes through wooded areas and alongside lakes. It is almost entirely off road and traffic-free, on proper footpaths – better for your legs than tarmac. The finish must be one of the most inspiring in the country.
An opportunity for sightseeing too
Competitors from outside the local area can take this opportunity to have a first-class run in great scenery in the morning and take time out to visit the beautiful, historic City of Cambridge in the afternoon.
Exciting Prizes
> Quality medal, souvenir and more for everyone
> Various category and spot prizes
Rural course
Includes woodland & wildlife meadows

Community involvement
Each year, the race proves to be an exciting event for the whole community and a pleasure for all concerned, both runners and helpers. Many local community groups and businesses support the event as marshals, staffing the drinks stations or through sponsorship, as well as taking part. We hope you’ll make this one of the highlights in your calendar and come back year after year.
