Brinkworth Bash 2018
30 September 2018
THE BRINKWORTH MULTI TERRAIN 10K BASH
This year's Brinkworth Bash will be the first league event of the new season for WORL (Wiltshire Off Road League) and will attract off road enthusiasts from all over Wiltshire and beyond. But off road newbies will also find it a great intro to off road running as it includes a variety of surfaces with quiet paths, tracks, byways and some minor lanes in rural North Wiltshire. The undulating and varied route is generally firm underfoot in September although a wet summer could make some sections interestingly muddy, as it did last year! But there are also some fast sections and in dry conditions we could easily see a new course record set.
The Start and Finish are in Brinkworth Recreation field, where free parking, a toilet block, a shelter/baggage tent, and cafe refreshments will be available. The field has a play area and there will also be a free bouncy castle.
