Boston Fun Run 2019

Run in conjunction with Boston (UK) Marathon

It is a separate event, a fun run for all, including children over the age of 11. Facilitated by Boston Marathon Association.

Age: 11 years on

Deadline for Entries: 01 April 2019

(Entries will be permitted to 12 April (unless closed through maximum numbers reached earlier) but race packs for entries after 1 April will not be sent by post, but will need to be collected from Boston - details to follow.)

This is a 3.25 mile (5259 metres) course, incorporating the first and last mile of our marathon route.

There is also an opportunity for groups of 9 to run a Team Marathon (9 x 3 miles = 27 miles) or groups of 5 to run a Team Half Marathon.  A great way to support the charity of the team choice and taste the thrill of Marathon running

Boston Marathon permit Bone Conduction head sets (eg Aftershokz sport headphones).  They must not cover the ears or otherwise occlude external sounds.

 New for 2019 All finishers receive a Medal, Tech T-Shirt and goody bag. 

****Timing Chips and numbers will be sent by post a week prior to the run.  Fun Runners will get electronic timing results using the same equipment as the Marathon runners!*****
